How many people out there now days who cant sing just studio gangsters. Take a hot chick some pro tools an make a recording. I’ll never forget leaving EDC with all my friends in the car, tripping are fucking faces off, with this blaring on max volume. It was like it was written for that exact moment in time. I’ll always associate this song with that memory of rolling through the desert, riding on the abyss.

The only thing I have to say is simple: I love this song… HOWEVER, this man is no patriot and for him to co-opt patriotism is something that pisses this 32 year military veteran off. He dodged the draft and did so in a dishonorable fashion. Love the song, hate the phony patriotism.

Sofaking tight! Definitely no funny business with the mix like all this total "polished up" run through the pro-tools fixit machine like most modern RUclips music posts... The stuff that is the equivalent of fake tits...they look good, but you know they're not real 😁

As a young buck, the first time I heard Nugent I loved the music. So, all lovers of FREEDOM will understand the first time I heard some commie say, “Ted Nugent can’t play guitar,” the first thought in my head was any prick who would say that is a jealous little bitch or a communist prick. Anyway, I was 14 at that time. That was over 50 years, and in all that time Nugent has not changed, and neither have I. Rock & Roll Baby!!!

They should have re released this track with WILD MICK BROWN on drums Greg Smith on bass and Derek St Holmes on lead vocals this is the best version of this track out there! MICK makes this super heavy and look at that power and swag on drums!

This was the Motor City Madness Tour and i believe this was in Detroit, not sure the exact year, maybe mid 2000's. All I know is with Wild Mick on drums and Derek St Holmes and Greg Smith on bass, during this time they were untouchable. Saw them live in Chicago, and my ears rang for a week, loudest concert I've ever been to. When the opening band finished and Ted's band came out and started playing, about 100 people cleared out and ran for cover, they had no idea! Lol. Bone crushing sound came out of those amps it was incredible.

I'm a drummer over 35 years and Wild Mick is never talked about, but he's one of the best out there. He has power, speed, and just a swag when he drums and with a small kit. . Reminds me of Joe Vitale that he's played for CSN, JOE WALSH, Peter Frampton, the Eagles touring and backup drummer to Henley, started out with Ted Nugent in the 60s and has played on over 1500 studio tracks with just about every band you can think of but he's never talked about. Mick stays under the radar, but both are right up there with the best.

Simple answer? They don't like is political views and how he speaks his mind which is wrong. The RRHOF is a joke anyway, just like Rolling Stones lists of best drummers, guitarists, and performers, they are soooo way off its not even funny.
